Match Report Press Report

Middleton III Lost to Littlehampton I in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 41 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Jonathan Braddock, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 136 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player and Player of the match, Jonathan Braddock.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Richard STACEY, who over-turned a 408 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
